Leeds linked Leigh Griffiths is said to want a new deal at Celtic.
Celtic have reportedly set a £3 million price tag on striker Leigh Griffiths, amid interest from Leeds United, report The Sun.
The forward was one of the key figures behind Celtic's Scottish Premiership title win, scoring 20 goals in all competitions.
Leeds were linked with a move for Griffiths last month with the Scottish Sun reporting Leeds were willing to pay £1 million - a third of the price Celtic are now asking.
Their hefty price is likely to end Leeds' chances of such a switch, but a glimmer of hope may come in the fact the 24-year-old is said to want a new contract.
The paper claim the striker wants a deal to match the club's valuation of his services, and his importance to the team.
This is the first reported development since Leeds' interest in Griffiths was first claimed, and the Championship side have been linked with a number of alternatives since, including Motherwell's Lee Erwin.
Former Wolves striker Griffiths currently has a contract at Celtic until 2017.
