Celtic are interested in signing Veton Berisha in the summer transfer window, according to The Scottish Sun.
It has been reported by the British tabloid that the Scottish Premiership winners are looking to recruit the youngster on a free transfer.
Berisha is on the books of Norwegian club Viking FK at the moment, but he is out of contract at the end of the month.
According to The Scottish Sun, clubs throughout Europe are interested in the 21-year-old forward, and Celtic are one of them.
Celtic manager Ronny Deila is “well aware of the emerging talent in his homeland”, states the report.
“Berisha’s goalscoring ability, link up play and potential are all appealing qualities for Deila who has other possible transfer options,” adds the report.
Celtic will reportedly have to pay a modest development fee to Viking for the services of the Norwegian forward.
The Bhoys are looking to reinforce their attack in the summer transfer window in order to qualify for the group stage of the Champions League next season.
Deila knows the Norwegian league well, and it seems that he is eager to recruit from a market of which he has a sound knowledge.
