Angel di Maria may have struggled for Manchester United in the recently concluded 2014-15 season, but he was superb for Argentina against Bolivia on Saturday.
The former Real Madrid winger scored twice for his national team, as they hammered South American rivals Bolivia 5-0 in a friendly international in the build-up to Copa America, which starts on June 11.
The 27-year-old attacker put Argentina in the lead in the 24th minute when he found the target with an angled drive.
Di Maria scored his second goal of the match 10 minutes into the second half, with Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero bagging a hat-trick.
The former Benfica star was in disappointing form for United throughout the 2014-15 campaign, but perhaps he is coming back into form.
Much was expected of Di Maria following his 2014 summer move from Madrid, but his debut season in the Premier League was largely average.
The Argentine scored three goals and created 51 chances in 27 Premier League appearances for United, and had a pass accuracy of 78% and a shot accuracy of 46%.
Di Maria was all smiles on Argentina duty, though, as some of the best photos from the match against Bolivia below show.
