Former Liverpool forward Luis Suarez has taken to social networking site Twitter to express his delight after winning the Champions League with Barcelona.
The Uruguay international joined Barcelona from Premier League outfit Liverpool in the summer of 2014.
After playing his part in the Catalan giants’ La Liga and Copa del Rey success, the 28-year-old helped the Blaugrana clinch the Champions League.
The former Ajax star scored Barca's second goal in their 3-1 victory over Juventus in the final of Europe’s premier club competition at the Olympiastadion in Berlin on Saturday evening.
Following the triumph, Suarez took to Twitter to post the following message, which when translated from Spanish reads: “Champions Vamosssssssss!! A dream come true!!!! Thank you all, especially to my three loves!!!!!”

Departing Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard was following the game, and he was quick to congratulate his former Reds teammate Suarez on Instagram:
Suarez scored 16 goals and created 57 chances in 27 La Liga appearances for Barcelona in the recently concluded 2014-15 season.
The former Liverpool star had a pass accuracy of 77% and a shot accuracy of 53%, and he won 14 headers, 36 dribbles and 11 tackles.
The Uruguayan scored seven goals and provided three assists in 10 Champions League matches.
