Conflicting reports have often suggested a to and fro regarding Arsenal, with Arsene Wenger either said to be looking to recruit Southampton's Schneiderlin to work alongside Francis Coquelin or be encouraged enough by the latter not to pursue the Frenchman.
This report suggests the second option, especially when a £25m price-tag is involved. They report that Spurs remain interested in the 25-year-old (with plenty of other outlets suggesting similar, anyway) but that Manchester United, whose name has been mentioned more frequently in relation to the Southampton midfielder of late, are now looking like favourites to sign him.
Schneiderlin recently took to social media with a cryptic post about his future, hinting that he may well be on the move this summer. That means that, however repetitive the varying reports get concerning Arsenal, Tottenham and Southampton, they may all be leading somewhere. The final destination, though, could be Manchester United.
