As per Sky Sports Italia, Lazio want Stoke City and Tottenham Hotspur target Yevhen Konoplyanka to be their second summer signing after already agreeing a deal with former West Ham United star Ravel Morrsion.
The Ukraine international has previously been linked with a move to the Premier League, the Express crediting Liverpool and Spurs with holding an interest during the January transfer window.
His superb displays during Dnipro’s Europa League campaign have prompted yet more Premier League interest this summer, with the BBC claiming that Stoke City are now leading the charge for his signature.
The 25-year-old is set to be a free agent this summer, and given his evident ability he would most certainly be a welcome addition to a number of English top-flight teams.
However, his burgeoning reputation in Ukraine has also attracted interest on the continent, Sky Sports Italia claiming Lazio have opened talks with his entourage over a move to the Italian capital.
“After agreeing to terms with Ravel Morrison, Lazio is looking to acquire another player. Lotito's club is interested in Dnipro winger Yevhen Konoplyanka. Lazio has had the initial conversation with the player's entourage, as well as the Ukrainian club,” the report states.
Should Konoplyanka opt for Rome instead of England, he will become the club’s second summer signing after a deal that has long been in place for ex-Hammers midfielder Ravel Morrison is completed.
Previously on the books of Manchester United, the 22-year-old moved to West Ham in 2012 but ultimately failed to settle despite his huge potential, leaving the club on a free in January.
With competition at Champions League hopefuls Lazio already high, Morrison may well be hoping the Ukraine winger opts for a move to England with the Potters or potentially Spurs.
