11. Dejan Savicevic vs Barcelona – 1994
A sensational bit of improvisation from the Serbian wizard on a memorable night for Milan. Few would have expected Savicevic to attempt an angled lob - but that's just what he did.
10. Marcel Desailly vs Barcelona – 1994
Dismissed by Johan Cruyff in the build-up as a dull signing, this goal showed another side to Desailly's game, which was the icing on a 4-0 win.
9. Alessandro Del Piero vs Borussia Dortmund - 1997
An often overlooked goal, due to Juventus' 3-1 defeat on the night. Del Piero started the game on the bench and left manager Marcelo Lippi looking silly after this inspired finish.
8. Lars Ricken vs Juventus – 1997
A one-club man with Borussia Dortmund, Ricken's career undoubtedly peaked with this superb goal. Having spotted Angelo Peruzzi off his line, the German's shot was perfect.
7.Steve McManaman vs Valencia – 2000
Having moved to the Bernabeu from Liverpool on a free transfer, McManaman capped a wonderful debut season off with a superb goal in their 3-0 win over Los Che.
6.Zinedine Zidane vs Bayer Leverkusen – 2002
Arguably the best goal ever scored by Zinedine Zidane and a contender for the best ever Champions League final goal, it also proved to be Zizou's only European Cup.
5.Hernan Crespo vs Liverpool – 2005
Before Liverpool turned the tide with a sensational comeback, Milan were marvellous with Crespo finishing this chance with aplomb after a superb through pass from Kaka.
4.Vladimir Smicer vs AC Milan – 2005
Steven Gerrard's goal may have given the Reds a glimmer of hope, but it was Smicer's sensational strike that meant it was game on for the Merseysiders in Istanbul.
3.Cristiano Ronaldo vs Chelsea – 2008
Contender for the best header ever seen in a Champions League final, Ronaldo's fabulous guided effect left Petr Cech stranded and gave Manchester United an early advantage.
2.Diego Milito vs Bayern Munich – 2010
Jose Mourinho's Champions League success with Inter Milan owes much to the goals of Milito, with this fine twinkle-toes effort setting the Nerazzurri on their way to a famous win.
1.David Villa vs Manchester United - 2011
In a game that saw Barcelona play at their imperious best under Pep Guardiola, it still took a special strike from Villa to seal the game. Perfectly placed and worthy of seeing again.
