Leeds United and West Bromwich Albion target Joey Barton shows how he’s keeping fit during off-season

Former Newcastle United and Queens Park Rangers midfielder Joey Barton is reportedly being targeted by Leeds United and West Bromwich Albion.

Leeds United target Joey Barton has posted a video on Instagram showing how hard he is working to keep himself fit during the off-season.

Barton will become a free agent after leaving London outfit Queens Park Rangers at the end of the 2014-15 season.

The 32-year-old midfielder is technically on the books of Rangers, but he will leave Loftus Road at the end of the month when his current contract runs out.

The former Manchester City and Newcastle United man has been linked with a move to Championship outfit Leeds in the summer transfer window.

The Whites are looking for a strong and combative midfielder for the 2015-16 campaign, and Barton is reportedly on their radar.

According to a report in The Sun last weekend, Leeds owner Massimo Cellino is prepared to offer Barton a £1 million-a-year contract.

The British tabloid also claimed that Premier League club West Bromwich Albion are interested in securing the services of the Englishman.

Barton needs to find a club for next season, and he seems to be working hard to stay in shape during the summer months, as the following video shows:

Used to go on holiday. Now I only go on warm weather training camps...
