The 18-year-old will remain with Les Verts until 2018.
West Ham United have been linked with a move for Saint-Etienne youngster Dyan Saint-Louis this summer. The talented attacker was, according to Get French Football's sources at L'Equipe, being looked at as a potential free transfer for both West Ham United and Parma.
The 18-year-old striker, who can also play on the left-wing, had impressed for Saint-Etienne B this season and his arrival would have been an exciting one for the future.
However, he will not be joining West Ham or anyone else this summer.
Saint-Louis has now put pen to paper on a new deal with Les Verts ahead of the new season.
Saint Louis agreed the new deal earlier in the week lasting until 2018. He told the club's official website after agreeing the contract extension:
"I am very happy to sign my first professional contract at my first club. Today is both a culmination and the beginning of an adventure.
"My goal is to be even more effective in front of goal. I have to grow physically and mentally. I will show the coach that I am invested and I want to earn my place in the group as a forward."
The attacker, who trained with the first-team on many occasions, scored eight goals for the B team this season and will now be hoping to press on to the first-team at the club.
Ironically West Ham could help him do that, as they are said to be targeting first-team attacker Max Gradel this summer.
