West Ham and Bournemouth target Max Gradel confirms interest from 'England, France and Germany'

St Etienne

The former Leeds United man has been in fantastic form in 2015.

Former Leeds and Leicester City midfielder Max Gradel is being linked with a return to England this summer - with West Ham and Bournemouth said to be keen on his signature.

He has now confirmed in an interview that he does have offers to leave Saint-Etienne from France, Germany and England.

He told Jeune Afrique:

"I can tell you one thing: if I have to leave the ASSE this summer, it will not be because I wanted to. But if this does happen, I will take the offer that interests me and that my team wins out.

"I just know that the clubs that are interested in me are in France, England and Germany."

So Gradel is certainly looking like being a wanted man this summer. He was recently linked with a return to former loan club AFC Bournemouth.

It was the reported by But! Football Club in France that West Ham were also keen on the former Leeds United player.

Gradel remains something of a fan favourite at Leeds United. During his time at Elland Road he played 85 games, scoring 25 times and became popular with fans with his exciting displays for the club and they would love to have him back.

But his form means a move to the Championship is unlikely.

He is all set to head to the Premier League after scoring 13 goals in 13 games for the club since returning from Africa Cup of Nations duty.

West Ham and Bournemouth will now be hoping it is England and not France or Germany where Gradel rocks up this summer.
