French winger Defrel scored nine goals and registered six assists in 34 games this season for Cesena, and the winger has been linked with a move to West Ham and Spurs, per Calcionews24, as well as Southampton - according to the Daily Mail.
There are currently no references to a bid for Defrel, but his future could come into doubt in the coming weeks due to his status of being co-owned by Parma.
Parma are struggling financially, and are set to partake in the fourth auction in the search for a new owner. Should someone come in and purchase the club, they will be entered into Serie B, but if not, they are set to dissolve, with all playing contracts being annulled.
This means Defrel could be available on a free transfer in a few weeks, with all clubs likely holding off offering him a contract in the knowledge that a budget signing could be around the corner.
This new interest is a blow for all the Premier League interested clubs, with Defrel showing no overt interest in moving to England, with an apparent desire to remain in Italy.
If the only offers were from England he would have no choice but to secure a Premier League switch, but whilst Torino are keen on signing him, the winger is sure to remain in Italy.
