West Ham manager betting update: New favourite, but Bilic still has support

West Ham United continue their search for the club's next manager after Sam Allardyce.

The betting market for the next West Ham United manager is showing a new favourite for the first time this week.

Plenty of money appears to have come in for the flamboyant Unai Emery to be given a contract at Upton Park, with a best price on the current market of 6/4.

Former West Ham United player Slaven Bilic is still receiving plenty of support at odds of 2/1, but he’s been displaced as the outright favourite for the first time stretching back to last weekend.

The worry if the Hammers opt for Emery over Bilic, is that the former could struggle with communication issues, which could be damaging as he tries to get his message across to his players.

In terms of the outsiders, there is still some support for Marcelo Bielsa at 8/1 who would be a great signing because of the attractive brand of attacking football that he likes his teams to play.

David Moyes is still an outside bet though his odds to become Hammers boss drift out to 16/1, as he’s the first with odds in double figures.
