Everton midfielder Steven Pienaar's unique heading ability has been demonstrated in a new video.

Steven Pienaar showcased a rather unique piece of skill during a video posted online by Everton this week.

The 33-year-old has played over 200 games for the Toffees over the course of two spells with the Merseyside club.

But despite featuring for Everton since 2007, few fans can claim to have seen his latest trick in a live game.

Showcased during a Toffees warm-up, the clip saw Pienaar pull off a rather unique looking “backwards header”.

Slightly tricky to define, given the unique nature of the skill involved, the South African appears to quite literally head the ball into the ground using the back of his head.

We can't even begin to imagine how difficult a skill that must be to pull off and with don't recommend anyone out there tries to contemplate a similar attempt.

Let's just leave it to Pienaar and hope that he can somehow incorporate it into what would be the most unique goal ever seen in the Premier League.
