Report: Yohan Cabaye knocks back Aston Villa approach, wants Crystal Palace move

Former Newcastle United midfielder Yohan Cabaye reportedly snubs Aston Villa in favour of a move to Premier League rivals Crystal Palace.

Former Newcastle United midfielder Yohan Cabaye does not want to join Aston Villa in the summer transfer window, according to The Sun.

It has been reported by the British tabloid that Villa manager Tim Sherwood wants the Paris Saint-Germain star to play for his team next season.

It has been claimed that the Premier League outfit want to sign Cabaye on a season-long loan deal with an option to buy.

However, the France international does not want to join Villa and fancies moving to their Premier League rivals Crystal Palace instead.

The Sun claim that the former Lille star has “his heart set on joining Alan Pardew at Crystal Palace”. It will cost the London outfit £10 million in transfer fee, according to the British tabloid.

Cabaye will be a good addition to the Palace squad. A creative player, the 29-year-old knows the Premier League inside out and will be able to add some flair to the Eagles team.
