Pedro Obiang is set to decide his future this week, according to Italian news outlet Il Secolo XIX.
The midfielder currently stars for Serie A side Sampdoria and has enjoyed a respectable season for the Italians, scoring three times and getting one assist in 34 appearances.
With the departure of coach Sinisa Mihajlovic confirmed last week, several of the club’s bigger names are thought to be contemplating their future, and Obiang is one of them.
Spurs’ Italian technical director Franco Baldini is thought to be a keen admirer of the 23-year-old, who has caps for the Spanish national side at Under-17, Under-19 and Under-21 level.
West Ham meanwhile have been long-term admirers of the midfielder and already submitted a bid of around £5.75 million to try and tempt him to Upton Park ahead of anywhere else, according to the Mirror.
They may face competition from elsewhere though, with the paper claiming Europa League winners Sevilla retain an interest, alongside fellow La Liga side Valencia and Premier League Everton, who have had him scouted as well.
