Hull aren't ready to give up left back Andrew Robertson without a fight, according to reports.

According to the Birmingham Mail, Hull City could demand up to twice the amount they paid for Andrew Robertson as Aston Villa track the Scottish defender.

Hull were relegated to the Championship on the final day of the season, with the 0-0 draw against Manchester United not enough to keep the Tigers in the Premier League.

Now, manager Steve Bruce could face something of an exodus, with many players no doubt keen to make an instant return to the Premier League by signing for another club.

Left back Robertson is one player who could attract interest, with the Birmingham Mail believing that Aston Villa want to snap him up this summer.

The 21-year-old full back only arrived at the KC Stadium from Dundee United last summer, with Hull paying £2.85m to land him according to the BBC.

Now though, they are allegedly only willing to sell the Scottish international for twice the amount they paid - meaning any deal would be close to £6m.

Whether Villa are willing to pay so much money for a young left back remains to be seen, but the report suggests that manager Tim Sherwood sees Robertson as the ideal full back for his Villa side - making a deal certainly possible this summer.
