Oshaniwa was linked with Celtic back in January, as per the BBC, and he has now been quoted by Sky Sports as confirming interest from the Bhoys, as well as Sheffield Wednesday and Hearts - who have submitted a formal offer for him.
The 24-year-old said: “I am aware of it [the interest]. My club president confirmed the official proposal from Hearts and let me know that talks are still on to seal the deal alongside my agent Ladi Salami in the UK.
“And more so, my agent confirmed interest of Celtic and from Sheffield Wednesday.”
Oshaniwa currently plays for FC Ashod in Israel, and starred for Nigeria at the World Cup, playing every minute of all four games. He has made 16 appearances for his nation, and is first-choice left back for both club and country.
Hearts are the only team to have submitted a formal approach for his services, and he has admitted that his agent is in talks with the club concerning a transfer this summer.
Oshaniwa looks certain to secure a transfer, and although Hearts may be the frontrunners for his signature as of today, he has also confirmed that Wednesday and Celtic have interest in him.
There are no indications as to which club he would prefer to move to, although chances of silverware are highest with the Bhoys, as well as the knowledge of European qualification.
Should either of the other two clubs submit an offer for him, it is likely the defender will reconsider his future, and with concrete interest in him, it is likely both Wednesday and Celtic will submit a formal approach for him in the coming days.
