Doncaster challenging Rotherham for ex-Leeds United man Aidy White

The left sided player looks to be much in demand by Yorkshire sides, after being released from Leeds after 13 years.

Aidy White, who was released by Leeds United at the end of this season, is on the radar of League One side Doncaster Rovers, according to

Doncaster manager Paul Dickov had a short spell with Leeds at the end of his career, where he would have played with White, before taking over as manager at Oldham and bringing the recently released winger to Boundary Park for two separate loan spells.

White ended up making 24 appearances under the former Scotland international there, so it's no surprise to see him linked with Dickov once more.

The 23-year-old looked like being a star in the making when he first appeared for Leeds at the age of 16 in the 2008-09 season, but despite over 100 appearances since then for the Elland Road outfit, the left sided player has struggled to feature over the last couple of campaigns, with White taking in a loan spell at Sheffield United last season as a result.

The former Republic of Ireland Under-21 player suffered an ankle injury last summer which played a part in his only featuring once for Leeds this season, playing 20 minutes in the final day draw with Rotherham.

The Millers are coincidently another side that are said to be taking an interest in the player, and between them and Donny, there is every possibility that White may end up staying in Yorkshire.
