West Ham manager betting update: Odds slip for Bilic, second favourite changes

West Ham United need to get the appointment of the club's next manager spot on.

The odds for Slaven Bilic becoming the next manager of West Ham United are going up and down like a yo-yo.

However, the club’s former player remains the betting favourite to be the man to replace Sam Allardyce, with his odds having gone slightly longer to 6/4.

Bilic has the obvious advantage of already having a relationship with the club’s fans, should the West Ham board decide that he’s the man who is capable of taking the club forward.

Unai Emery is the current second favourite as things stand at a best price of 5/1 and could be a worthwhile risk despite his proactive nature on the touchline.

Marco Bielsa has drifted out to longer odds of 10/1, as has Frank de Boer who would have been a good option considering his productive history in terms of developing younger players.

Sean Dyche and David Moyes are also in a group with de Boer, as 14/1 options.

West Ham need to get this appointment right because it will shape their future leading up to the move into the Olympic Stadium at Stratford.
