Sunderland continue their search for a manager to replace Dick Advocaat.
Sean Dyche remains the favourite to become the next manager of Sunderland at 6/4, with Dick Advocaat’s departure leaving the club looking for a third boss since the turn of the year.
Dyche would be a good appointment and would bring a lot of quality to the table, but whether the Black Cats can convince him to turn his back on an unfinished project with Burnley is doubtful.
Former West Ham manager Sam Allardyce hasn’t budged as the second favourite for the role at a best price of 3/1 with Philipp Cocu a little further back in the betting at 7/1.
Fans would arguably prefer Allardyce because of his Premier League experience with the Hammers, who he managed to turn into an established Premier League side after promotion from the Championship.
Armin Veh is a new name to appear on the list at a best price of 8/1, with the German boasting an impressive CV from his time in Germany.
He would be a risk but could also take Sunderland in an exciting new direction, which could benefit the club.
