It is believed that Manchester United are also keeping tabs on the Polish international.

Manchester City and VfL Wolfsburg have made the first moves to sign Premier League target Kamil Glik, according to Tuttosport.

They claim that City and Wolfsburg are on the verge of offering Torino €14.5 million to sign the Polish international defender this summer.

Glik is of course also being chased by Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United.

At the end of March it was reported by The Sun that Tottenham Hotspur were ready to snap up the Polish international centre-back Glik in a deal believed to be worth around £8 million. The Torino defender has impressed this season and Spurs need new centre back options after a difficult season at the back.

An earlier report from Tuttosport in Italy claimed that Manchester United were also keen on the player, as they aim to bolster their defensive ranks this summer.

While Manchester City and Wolfsburg may have got the upper hand in the pursuit of the Torino star, they are still short if his estimated price-tag.

It was reported at the weekend that Torino will not do business for less than €20 million, as reported by Calcio24.
