Three Leeds United youngsters signed their first professional contracts this week, so what did fans of the Whites have to say?
Leeds United had more good news for their fans on Tuesday morning when they announced on their official website that three talented teenagers had agreed their first professional contracts at the club.
It is great news for a club that is starting to deliver it far more regularly than their fans have been used to, and follows hot on the heels of Lewis Cook’s new two-year contract and reports that highly-rated midfielder Kalvin Phillips will soon follow suit.
Mulhern is arguably the pick of the bunch, the striker ending last season as the top scorer for Leeds’ under-18s, but both attacking midfielder Lyman and goalkeeper Peacock-Farrell are also very gifted young players.
Leeds have a whole raft of those, but is down to new manager Uwe Rosler to blend those prodigious talents with more experienced heads in order to steer the club back to the top flight after too long away.
@APOPEY Frank Mulhern is very good on Football Manager, same potential as Lewis Cook. Not much to go on but still promising— Luke Lightowler (@lukelightowler) June 2, 2015
Frank mulhern to be #lufc top goal scorer and Bailey Peacock-Farrel to get man of steel award.— Bin Fairy (@TestHostyrone) June 2, 2015
Bailey Peacock Farrell sounds like a law firm... 2 birds one stone #lufc— Nëils Diämönd (@NeilsDiamond) June 2, 2015
@APOPEY if young goal keeper Bailey Peacock-Farrell goes on to become our number one I don't think I will have his name put on my shirt— nigel stanley (@nigelLUFC) June 2, 2015
