Petr Cech is looking forward to meeting up with his international team-mates before making a decision on his club career.
Cech looks set to quit Stamford Bridge in the summer after slipping behind Thibaut Courtois in the Blues' goalkeeping pecking order. According to the Mirror, Paris St. Germain are also interested in the Czech Republic international.
The 33-year-old has revealed he will sit down and discuss his future after returning from international duty on Friday. When quizzed by reporters, Cech said he will not think about his future yet but will start considering his options next week.
"I don’t know. I will fly back now and join the national team," Cech told the Express.
"Then when the season is over I will weigh up my options and decide.
“I won’t think about it now. When the decision is made I will tell you. At the moment it’s all just speculation.
"I’m not even thinking about it."
Cech enjoys hero status at Stamford Bridge and while a move to Arsenal or Manchester United may turn the heads of several supporters, a goalkeeper of his standing is simply too good to be sitting on the bench week-in, week-out. He deserves to be showcasing his abilities at the top, but Jose Mourinho cannot guarantee him enough playing time.
At Chelsea he has won four Premier League titles, as many FA Cups and the Champions League. Cech will, if he decides to depart, leave Stamford Bridge a legend regardless of where his next move will take him.
