A selection of the latest stories in the media involving Tottenham Hotspur this Tuesday evening.
Tottenham Hotspur are confident that goalkeeper Hugo Lloris will remain at the club, according to the London Evening Standard, despite comments in their report attributed to a French newspaper which suggest the 28-year-old is considering his future.
Lloris signed a new long-term deal at the club last season, and with the side finishing outside the Champions League places in 2014/15, speculation has been fuelled suggesting that a big-money move to a club in Europe's premier club competition for next season could take place.
The Spurs number one is quoted as saying: “There is one important thing: at one moment I have to think about myself, to ask myself questions and reflect but as soon as this moment is over and the season starts, I’ll be thoroughly involved in the project of this club, the team.”
Manchester United and PSG have been the two sides linked with a move for the goalkeeper - per the Daily Star.
Spurs have just finished their post-season tour of Australia, and midfielder Nabil Bentaleb has told the club's official website about the experience after their game against Sydney FC - where they overcame their hosts 1-0.
He seemed to recognise the appeal the club has, saying: “We know how big the club is but it really hits home when you go to the other end of the world and you see there are so many people supporting us. It really opens your eyes, to be honest.”
