West Brom are competing with Aston Villa and Newcastle to sign the Hull striker.
As reported by the Birmingham Mail, West Brom have shown an interest in signing Hull City striker Dame N’Doye this summer, having been made available for transfer following the Tigers’ relegation to the Championship.
Despite only signing for Hull in January, the Senegalese international has been made available for transfer following their relegation.
He arrived at the KC Stadium from Locomotive Moscow, and managed to score five goals in 15 games, but that was not enough to keep them in the top flight.
However, he proved his goalscoring ability, and in a team in better form, N’Doye could really shine.
Manager Tony Pulis is keen to improve his Baggies’ strike force this summer, and N’Doye would prove to be a great strike partner for Saido Berahino. Brown Ideye was meant to provide the physical aspect of forward play, but he has struggled to adapt, and N’Doye would bring a known quality to the Hawthorns.
He looks the perfect Pulis signing, and having been made available for transfer, West Brom could easily pick up the 34-capped forward for a budget fee.
However, they face competition from two of their Premier League rivals, with Aston Villa keen on him, as per the Mirror, and N’Doye himself interested in securing a move to Newcastle, according to the Chronicle.
It is likely that the forward would choose a move that offers him the best playing opportunities at the highest level of competition, and with all three teams expected to build on poor campaigns to improve next term, N’Doye looks to be the consistent goalscorer needed.
