HITC Sport understands highly-rated Leeds United starlet Kalvin Phillips has agreed a new deal at the club.
HITC Sport understands from sources close to the club that Leeds United youngster Kalvin Phillips is poised to sign a new deal at Elland Road.
The 19-year-old is the latest young talent to come through the youth ranks into the first team, following in the footsteps of the likes of Sam Byram, Charlie Taylor, Alex Mowatt and Lewis Cook.
Phillips has captained the Under-18s and Development squad at Leeds and worked his way into the fringes of the first-team during the season.
The midfielder made his debut in April away at Wolves and followed that up with a goal and a Man of the Match display against Cardiff City at Elland Road.
The all-action midfielder is tipped for a big future at Leeds and he has been rewarded with a new two-year deal for his progress over the last six months.
The news of Phillips' new deal will come as a massive boost to Leeds as they prepare for next season with the teenager expected to play a big role in Uwe Rosler's plans.
