Wales international midfielder Ramsey has been linked with a move to Spanish champions Barcelona in the summer transfer window.
Last month, The Sun reported that Barcelona were planning to make a £50 million bid for the 24-year-old.
Arsenal legend Henry, who has also played for the Catalan giants, believes that it would be best for Ramsey if he remains at the Premier League outfit.
“As an Arsenal man I don’t want to see him leave, especially when I can see him maturing as a player and the future looking bright for him at Arsenal,” the former France international striker told The Sun.
“Right now, as a Gooner, we are happy to have him. People do leave and it’s Barcelona and it’s not an easy club to say no to… But he’s still young and, hopefully, before he leaves he can win a title with Arsenal.”
Barcelona are one of the biggest clubs in the world, and playing alongside the likes of Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez, Neymar and Andres Iniesta is a temptation that not many players will be able to resist.
However, competition for places in the Barcelona starting line-up is fierce, and Ramsey will not be guaranteed regular playing time.
Perhaps the former Cardiff City midfielder will leave Arsenal in the future, but it would be best for his development if he remains at the Emirates Stadium for one more season at least.
