Crystal Palace are reportedly keen on signing the former Newcastle midfielder.
The 29-year-old midfielder is best known in England for his impressive spell with Newcastle, where he made 93 appearances over three years, scoring 18 goals and registering 14 assists.
Able to play all through the centre of midfield, Cabaye is a talented playmaker, with an impressive reading of the game, and the ability to create chances at will. He plays best in the number 10 role, but is also able to fulfil a deeper-lying midfield role if necessary.
He has struggled to establish himself at PSG since signing for the club in January 2014, making just 57 appearances, and scoring three goals and claiming four assists. It is expected that he will look to leave the club this summer, and the report states that Palace are the frontrunners for his signature.
Manager Alan Pardew worked with Cabaye at Newcastle, and although Arsenal are still referenced as showing an interest in him, the Eagles are said to be favourites.
The £10 million fee is likely to be enough to prise Cabaye away from PSG, and with guarantees of first-team football he is sure to accept a move to Selhurst Park, especially as he will be working under Pardew, the coach who brought out some of his best form in recent years.
