According to the Daily Mirror, Aston Villa will target Bournemouth striker Callum Wilson this summer - if Christian Benteke leaves the club.
Villa suffered a humiliation in the FA Cup final on Saturday, as Arsenal thrashed Tim Sherwood's men 4-0 at Wembley to send Villa home empty handed.
Now, Sherwood can prepare for the summer transfer window having kept Villa in the Premier League, but much of the speculation will surround the future of star player Benteke.
The Belgian striker has been in sensational form under Sherwood, bagging 12 goals in 15 games since Sherwood's arrival, and surely drawing interest from other Premier League clubs.
If Benteke does depart, Sherwood will need a replacement - and The Mirror believe that Bournemouth ace Wilson is at the top of his wish list.
The 23-year-old hit 22 goals as Bournemouth won promotion to the Premier League, with Wilson earning plenty of plaudits for his exploits in front of goal.
The report suggests that Villa were interested in signing Wilson in January but weren't willing to pay £7m to bring the former Coventry star back to the West Midlands.
Now though, with reinforcements needed after that defeat to Arsenal, Villa may be more willing to fork out a big fee for Wilson - even after Bournemouth's promotion.
