HITC Sport understands Huddersfield Town are set to name a new director of football operations at the club as they get ready for new season.
Huddersfield have been searching for a new director of football since March after the highly-rated Ross Wilson left the club to join Southampton.
Wilson had been in his role at Huddersfield for two and a half years and played a major role in revamping the scouting network and the youth set-up.
Huddersfield owner Dean Hoyle is keen to keep the same structure in place at the John Smith's Stadium, with a director of football operations working alongside manager Chris Powell.
A number of names have been linked with the role at Huddersfield and it is understood Hoyle and the club's board have decided on Wilson's replacement.
Huddersfield finished in 16th place in the Championship last season and they will be aiming to be busy in the transfer market this summer to bolster their squad for the 2015-16 campaign.
