Tottenham Hotspur have played friendlies in Malaysia and Australia.
Spurs have played friendlies against a Malaysian XI and Sydney FC on their commercial tour, with Winks playing parts in both of the fixtures.
The youngster was included in the squad which travelled on the tour and he has certainly benefitted from the experience.
“It’s been brilliant and I’ve loved every minute of it,” he said. “Being in with the first team the whole time has been great and to get a lot of game time with them has been excellent as well.
“The older boys have been very helpful to me and the other young lads. Every time we need a bit of advice they give it to us. They’re very friendly, have been very supportive and have helped us out a lot."
Winks is likely to be one of the players who has taken the most pleasure from the Lilywhites' post-season friendlies.
The 19-year-old is still looking to gain experience and he will feel that his progression has been helped by this tour.
Tottenham's first-teamers may not have been so happy to have played on it, though, as it adds to their work-load after what has been a gruelling season.
Spurs have had to compete across a number of competitions and Mauricio Pochettino will be hoping that this post-season commitment does not fatigue his players ahead of next campaign.
