Guillem Balague claims West Brom and Crystal Palace are interested in Leonardo Ulloa

Leicester City striker Leonardo Ulloa is reportedly being targeted by Premier League rivals West Bromwich Albion and Crystal Palace.

Respected Spanish football journalist Guillem Balague has taken to social networking site Twitter to claim that West Bromwich Albion and Crystal Palace are interested in Leicester City striker Leonardo Ulloa.

Ulloa joined Leicester from Brighton & Hove Albion in the summer of 2014 and proved to be a success at the King Power Stadium.

The Argentine scored 11 goals and created 36 chances in 37 Premier League appearances in the recently concluded 2014-15 season.

The 28-year-old had a pass accuracy of 73% and a shot accuracy of 43%, and won 122 headers, 14 dribbles and 41 tackles.

According to Balague, Premier League duo West Brom and Palace are interested in the services of Ulloa.

Balague probably means Saido Berahino instead of Christian Benteke; the former plays for West Brom, while the latter features for Aston Villa.

While Ulloa did have a brilliant season for Leicester, perhaps it would be best if he remains at Leicester for one more season at least.

Both West Brom and Palace will be aiming for a top-10 finish in the Premier League next season, and it is too early to say if the former Almeria striker will be a good addition to either club.
