West Ham United are said to be keen on a move for a current Sampdoria player.
The 28-year-old currently has a contract with the Serie A club until the summer of 2017, but it is now being reported that he is attracting a lot of interest from the English top flight, following a fine season in which he scored 12 goals, provided five assists and earned his first senior international cap.
Eder is predominantly a left winger although he can also play as a centre forward or a secondary striker if required.
Injury brought his season to a premature end but prior to that he had proved to be a very effective option for Sampdoria, going on one particular run in which he scored eight goals and set up an additional three in 15 matches.
Eder has played for a number of clubs in Italy but is now said to be attracting interest not just from West Ham but also from Crystal Palace and Stoke City.
West Ham will no doubt be looking to strengthen their forward line this summer and in Eder they would be signing a player who has blossomed in recent times.
The report claims Sampdoria will decide the player’s future in the coming days.
