Ex-Chelsea defender Huth joined Leicester City on loan from Premier League rivals Stoke City in the January transfer window.
The German centre-back proved to be a valuable acquisition as he helped the Foxes stave off relegation from the English top flight.
In 14 Premier League appearances for Leicester, the 30-year-old scored one goal and had a pass accuracy of 75%. Huth won 56 headers, one dribble and 16 tackles in those 14 matches.
Savage was impressed with Huth’s performances in the second half of the season and wrote in The Mirror: “Leicester’s great escape took shape when he arrived to shore up the defence.”
Leicester finished the 2014-15 Premier League campaign 14th in the table with 41 points from 38 matches, six points above the bottom three.
Huth’s current contract with Stoke runs out in June 2016, according to Transfermarkt.co.uk.
