The Motherwell striker got on the wrong side of the wrong man.
Motherwell beat Rangers today 3-0 to complete a comprehensive 6-1 Scottish Premiership promotion/relegation play-off final victory.
They never looked under threat in the game, with goals from Marvin Johnson, Lionel Ainsworth and John Sutton doing the trick for Well.
One man who stood out was Lee Erwin, likely to the delight of Leeds and Celtic fans.
Both teams have recently been linked with the player. The Sun reported that Celtic were keen on the player earlier this month.
He is out of contract at the club and has had an impressive 2015. He did however get sent off in the tunnel after the game, after starting a ruckus that saw him kicked in the legs and punched in the face by Rangers hothead Bilel Mohsni.
Erwin shoved the Tunisian in the back after the game and Mohsni snapped, kicking him in the backside before unleashing a solid left jab to the face.
Erwin reeled away, visibly in pain and likely reminding himself to never test the Rangers player's patience ever again.
But perhaps his run-in with a Rangers player might make him more likely to join Old Firm rivals Celtic this summer.
