Tottenham Hotspur ended their post-season tour with a 1-0 victory this weekend.
Tottenham Hotspur finished their season (or more specifically their post-season) with a 1-0 victory against Sydney FC on Saturday.
Not for the first time this campaign, Harry Kane was the difference; the 21-year-old scoring the match-winning strike three minutes before half-time.
Kane drove the ball into the far corner after collecting a pass from Erik Lamela and that goal meant Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino could then introduce a number of promising young players during the second period.
Among them were Kyle Walker-Peters, Harry Winks, Josh Onomah, Grant Ward and Tom Carroll, all of whom will be hoping to make the same kind of impact next season as Ryan Mason and Nabil Bentaleb did in this campaign.
The Algerian international was particularly impressive this weekend, while USA international DeAndre Yedlin also showed what he is capable of although he is still not yet ready to take the starting spot from first-choice right-back Kyle Walker.
Below are a series of images from the match, including some of Tottenham’s next generation doing their best to impress both the fans and Pochettino.
