Paul Lambert picks his Aston Villa line-up for FA Cup final

Jack Grealish

Aston Villa will face Arsenal in the final of the FA Cup at London’s Wembley Stadium today.

Paul Lambert has told BT Sport that Jack Grealish should start for Aston Villa against Arsenal in the FA Cup final at London’s Wembley Stadium today.

The former Villa manager has picked the 19-year-old Republic of Ireland Under-21 international attacker as part of a line-up which includes Christian Benteke as the striker up front.

This is the Villans’ starting line-up that Lambert wants to see in the final:

Shay Given

Alan Hutton - Ron Vlaar - Nathan Baker - Kieran Richardson

Tom Cleverley - Ashley Westwood - Fabian Delph

Jack Grealish - Gabriel Agbonlahor

Christian Benteke

Villa fans will agree with most of Lambert’s selections, although many will want Leandro Bacuna to start at right-back instead of Hutton.

Perhaps Charles N’Zogbia should also be given the nod ahead of Gabriel Agbonlahor.

This is Villa's first FA Cup final since 2000, when they lost 1-0 to Chelsea at Wembley. This is also the first time that the Villans will face Arsenal in the final of the prestigious competition.
