FIFA 14 Bale

A former Tottenham Hotspur player has sent his best wishes to two Arsenal players as they look to defend the FA Cup.

Real Madrid star Gareth Bale may have irked a few of his former fans at Tottenham Hotspur this weekend, after the one-time White Hart Lane favourite wished two Arsenal players good luck ahead of this afternoon’s FA Cup final.

The Welshman took to Twitter to send a message to his countryman Aaron Ramsey and his former Southampton teammate Theo Walcott, but as a former Tottenham player his comments may have not gone down too well with the Spurs faithful.

Tottenham were in action themselves this weekend, in a post-season friendly match against Sydney FC, but it was the upcoming match between Arsenal and Aston Villa that Bale appeared to be focused on as he sent his good luck message.

Bale has come in for some criticism in his second season away from Tottenham, failing to hit the heights demanded by his world-record transfer fee and seeing Real crash out of the Champions League to Juventus and miss out on the La Liga title with Barcelona securing the crown.
