The Italian wants to shackle the Spaniard in the Premier League next term.
Watford are back in the big time. The Hornets finished second in the Championship this season and will therefore be mixing it with the likes of Arsenal, Manchester United and current champions Chelsea next season.
Of course Watford have recently taken on Chelsea anyway. They faced off in the FA Cup back in January 2015 and it was not a good omen for the promoted side.
They lost that game comfortably, Chelsea running away as 3-0 victors at Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea had struggled to get the better of Watford that day, but the introduction of Diego Costa soon changed things.
The Spanish international made the gaps begin to open in the Hornets defence and Willian, Loic Remy and Zouma did the rest.
Now, Watford defender Gabriele Angella, has been speaking about meeting Costa again next season and is clearly excited by the prospect.
He told the St Albans Review this week:
"I really want to play again against Diego Costa, if you watch our match then you can understand why.
“But I am looking forward to playing against every team in the Premier League. I am looking forward to it."
Angella established himself as a regular in the Watford back-line last season but his penchant for a mistake, usually followed by a red card, may cause him some issues in the top-flight next season.
He will just hope Costa does not give him the runaround yet again.
