Paul Clement has taken to social networking site Twitter to reveal that he is leaving Real Madrid.
The 43-year-old has been working as the assistant coach at the Spanish giants since 2013, but following the dismissal of Carlo Ancelotti, he has decided to leave the Santiago Bernabeu.
It has been an honour to have worked with Carlo at the Number 1 Club in the World. Thank you to all the Players, Staff and Fans. Hala Madrid— Paul Clement (@PaulClement1972) May 29, 2015
Clement has worked with Ancelotti for years, but he has not been in charge of a team on his own.
This means that it will be a risk for Sunderland or Derby if they go for Clement, but it could also prove to be a brilliant move.
Clement is considered a very good coach, and perhaps he will also prove to be a very good ‘head coach’ or ‘manager’.
