The England under-21 international has been in great form for Brentford this season.
Tottenham Hotspur have been gaining a reputation in recent times for their ability to bring through top young talent. The likes of Harry Kane, Ryan Mason and Nabil Bentaleb are testament to this fact.
Another promising youngster who has been catching the eye now for a while is Alex Pritchard.
The talented midfield playmaker has always been on the radar in the Tottenham youth system, but he has truly come to the fore this season whilst on loan at Championship side Brentford.
With that in mind many a Spurs fan is hoping to see him get his chance next season.
Now, Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino has confirmed he will be involved next season. He told a Facebook question and answer session earlier today:
"Yes of course, he is in our plans for next season. He starts pre-season when he gets back from the Euros and we are looking forward to having him back after a successful loan with Brentford."
Pritchard is a similar player to current talisman Christian Eriksen. A creative midfielder who can play out wide, with a terrific pass and wonderful technique. However his best position going forward looks like it will be more central in origin, meaning he may find it difficult to get first-team football at Tottenham next season.
However, if he does, there is no doubt he will show Spurs fans a glimpse of his excellent talent.
