Spanish publication El Desmarque have singled out Manchester United youngster Andreas Pereira as the key to Brazil winning the U20 World Cup next month.
The report states: ‘’Andreas Pereira, Manchester United midfielder, born in Belgium but with Brazilian descent, who has already debuted with the team of Louis Van Gaal in the Premiership this season, is the beacon that guides a team that will live for goals that can be provided by Marcos Guilherme.’’
The highly-rated midfielder, who signed a new contract with United in May, as reported by manutd.com, has been in outstanding form this season and will definitely be one of the ones to watch when the tournament kicks off on Friday.
Brazil, along with Argentina, have been cited by El Desmarque as the favourites for the trophy and Pereira will certainly not want to disappoint as he continues to build his reputation.
