Crystal Palace's squad are confident of success next season.
Palace have made rapid strides forward under the stewardship of Alan Pardew and Dann's comments seem to sum up how confident everyone around the club is feeling at the moment.
Palace put together an impressive end to the season and Dann wants the side to carry this momentum into next term.
“If we can strengthen the squad and keep playing the way we have been playing then we have got to look up next year,” he said.
“Hopefully we can break into the top eight. It is going to take some hard work but you never know.
"Looking at the performances we have put in since the manager has been here, there is no reason why we can’t. It has been a really good season and I am sure the manager will be looking at it and deciding where we need to strengthen."
Making it into the top eight could be difficult, but if Palace can build on what they already have then they do have a chance of breaking into the upper echelons of the table.
The London side have one of the most threatening front-lines in the division, with the likes of Wilfried Zaha, Jason Puncheon and Yannick Bolasie able to terrorise opposition defences.
They will need to make a number of additions if they are to make it into the top-eight, though, with some areas of the squad still needing to be upgraded.
The additions of a striker and a centre-back will be key for Palace this summer, while they will also be hoping to add more strength in depth to the squad.
