Manchester United's Marouane Fellaini was sent off against Hull City on the final day of the season after a late challenge on Paul McShane.

Healing well everyone. Looks like Edward Scissor hands has just give me a leg massage.

Hull City were relegated from the Premier League on the final day of the season, drawing 0-0 at home with fourth-placed Manchester United.

Starting as a substitute on the day, Marouane Fellaini, was sent off for a late challenge on Tigers defender Paul McShane.

The Ireland international has since been released by Hull and now finds himself searching for a new club as a free agent.

McShane came through the youth system at Manchester United, where he took in loan spells at Walsall and Brighton & Hove Albion. The rest of his career, thus far at least, has been very much Premier League-based having represented clubs such as West Bromwich Albion, Sunderland and Hull.

While the future is up in the air for McShane, he is currently recovering from a leg scar which can now be viewed on Instagram with the caption "Healing well everyone. Looks like Edward Scissor hands just gave me a leg message."

Fellaini, who has been a stand out performer under Louis van Gaal, will be disappointed knowing he will now miss the first three fixtures of Manchester United's 2015/16 Premier League campaign.

For a season the Belgian could consider a high point of his career, it certainly ended on a low.
