The Dutchman has played in every FA Cup round so far, and scored the opening goal in the fifth round win over Leicester City.
And more often than not, Bacuna has been Tim Sherwood's choice at right-back in the league as well since he took over at the club, with the former Groningen man becoming a key man as the Villans escaped relegation.
But it is the cup final at Wembley that he and his teammates are looking forward to now, and the 23-year-old suggested that he would add to his tattoos to recognise a Villa victory over Arsenal this weekend, revealing he would get a new piece of ink "on his leg" if the result went their way.
"The closer it gets, the more exciting it becomes," Bacuna told the Villa website. "I wish it was tomorrow! It's a good place to be. I'm more excited than nervous inside.
"To know you're going to play in the final against Arsenal is good for a player.
"Two or three years ago I couldn't have seen that stage for me and to be there is amazing.
"People are watching it all over the world. It's a big cup to be in."
Bacuna has 25 appearances to his name this season, and has 6 assists to go alongside his FA Cup goal. He'll be hoping there is at least one more contribution to add to those numbers before the English season wraps up.
