Arsenal fans react on Twitter to Grzegorz Krychowiak's Europa League performance for Sevilla

Poland Players Celebrate

Arsenal linked Grzegorz Krychowiak put in a timely reminder of his ability as he helped Sevilla win the Europa League.

Grzegorz Krychowiak was one of the stars as Sevilla beat Dnipro 3-2 to win their second Europa League final in a row.

The Polish international scored his club's opener before Carlos Bacca grabbed the headlines, showing he is a player who can produce on the big stage.

Krychowiak is a defensive midfielder who has been at the club only since last year. The 25-year-old signed for less than £4 million, but would cost a lot more than that now.

The Express was one of many outlets earlier this season to report Arsenal held interest in the midfielder, who Sevilla rate at £24 million.

Regardless of his price tag, Krychowiak's performance was one of an accomplished player who would benefit the Arsenal side.

He won two tackles, six aerial duels, and made six clearances as he helped the La Liga side retain their crown.

Krychowiak was making his 45th appearance for his club this season, and picked up his 19th booking during the final, showing his uncompromising side, a trait Arsenal's players have been accused of lacking in recent seasons.

Fans were impressed with his performance, taking to Twitter to rave about him as a potential addition, with one fan comparing him to Chelsea's Nemanja Matic. Here is a look at a selection of the comments...
