Tottenham Hotspur media round-up: Ings emerges as priority target for Pochettino

A round up of news stories this morning related to Tottenham Hotspur.

The Independent has reported that Tottenham have made signing Danny Ings from Burnley a priority.

The forward could realistically attract a move into the Premier League after his current side were relegated from the top flight.

Tottenham are an option and they will have to pay £6 million to make the deal happen, which would arguably be a bargain.

Tottenham Hotspur forward Harry Kane will not leave the club for Manchester United, according to the Daily Star.

The striker has been linked with a high profile move to Old Trafford, which could be worth in the region of £45 million.

However, a deal is unlikely to happen with Kane fully committed to the cause at White Hart Lane.

Kane has been quoted by the Daily Express suggesting the highlight of his season was his performance in the North London derby.

Kane bagged the winner against Arsenal in the Premier League game at White Hart Lane, with one of his best performances of the campaign.

He was also superb in the London derby win against Chelsea, also at White Hart Lane.

“To score two goals in my first north London derby and win the game the way we did is something I won’t forget,” he said.
