West Ham United are set to make a number of changes to their first-team this summer.

According to the Daily Star, West Ham United are set to offer their new manager a £25 million transfer budget to improve his squad.

The Hammers are looking for someone to take over from Sam Allardyce and it seems they plan to offer their new boss a sizeable amount of funds to make the additions he wants to his team.

West Ham need to add more quality to their squad and they will be hoping to have a productive transfer window.

With the London side preparing to play Europa League football, they will need to bring in more strength in depth and the aim is for a new manager to push them on to the next level.

West Ham are desperate to start competing for a top-six place in the Premier League and they will hope that the improvements that they make this summer can lift them up the standings.

With expectations increasing at the Boleyn Ground, West Ham are also reportedly set to allow a number of their current players to leave.

The likes of Carlton Cole, Jussi Jaaskelainen and Guy Demel are set to see their contracts expire, while Matt Jarvis could be sold.
