Bournemouth are looking to strengthen their attacking options after making it into the Premier League, and they reportedly feel that Atsu would be a shrewd addition.
The rapid winger is regarded as an extremely talented player and Eddie Howe believes that he can bring the best out of the 23-year-old.
So far, Atsu's time in England has been a rather frustrating experience. The Ghana international is yet to break into Chelsea's starting line-up and he made little impression while on loan with Everton this season.
Atsu only played in five league matches for the Toffees this season and will be aiming to make more of an impression at Bournemouth – if he does indeed link up with the top-flight new boys.
The Cherries already have some dangerous creative talent at the club in Matt Ritchie and Danny Pugh, but Atsu's lightening pace would offer them a different outlet.
If Atsu does join, he is likely to be the first of many additions that Bournemouth make this summer, with Howe determined to ensure that his squad have enough quality to compete among English football’s elite.
