One of the Invincibles was in practice ahead of the FA Cup final.
It's not often Arsene Wenger gets credit for a brilliant tactical move.
Critics will argue that's because they are very rare. Just like the Frenchman's ventures into the transfer market are very rare - top-class recruits even rarer for Arsenal.
But, on this occasion, Wenger may have played a masterstroke in training ahead of this weekend's FA Cup final between the north London side and Aston Villa.
Indeed, one of Arsenal's 'Invincibles' in Robert Pires was present at London Colney (and he was all smiles during training). And what a move indeed to bring back a three-time FA Cup winner to help the players ahead of their big day.
He was pictured by himself, with boss Wenger and with the in-form Theo Walcott.
What better way to motivate the Arsenal squad than by bringing a club icon back who won three FA Cups himself? Not only can he help those who might be trying to win it for the first time - but he'll be a big help for those who won it last season and may need advice on how to hold together a defence of the trophy (Pires' Gunners won it two years in a row in 2001/02 and 2002/03).
Bravo Pires and bravo Wenger...
